Crimes of the Month

The following incidents have been listed by Athens County Crime Solvers Anonymous as the February 2024 Crimes of the Month.

The Athens Police Department is requesting your information pertaining to a series of crimes which occurred in the City.

On December 24, 2023, The Athens Police Department received a report of theft of a Ford 500 tractor. The tractor is property of the City of Athens, and it was used to maintain the grounds at the W. State St. fields. The Board has approved a $1000.00 cash reward for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the suspects(s).

The Athens Police Department is requesting your information pertaining to a series of crimes which occurred in the City.
On November 4, 2023, The Athens Police Department received a report of Burglary at a residence on University Estates Blvd. in Athens. Two links have been included below to the Athens Police Facebook page for video of the incident. The Board has approved a $1000.00 cash reward for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the suspects(s).
